Travel Responsibility
Attendees are solely responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel, accommodations (unless otherwise included in their package), meals, transportation, and travel insurance. Work of Heart Photography is not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, missed flights, lost baggage, or other travel-related issues that may affect your ability to attend the Retreat.
The Retreat will proceed as scheduled regardless of individual travel complications.
Personal Property

Attendees are responsible for securing their own equipment and belongings at all times.
Photography Skill Requirements
Participants are expected to have a working knowledge of their camera and a basic understanding of photography fundamentals such as exposure and lighting. While photographers of many levels attend, the Retreat is primarily a shooting and business experience and not a structured photography training program.
Model Appreciation & Image Delivery
Models generously volunteer their time to participate in this Retreat, often traveling and missing school or work. As a gesture of appreciation, attendees agree to provide 4–5 edited images of each model they photograph within four weeks of the Retreat. In exchange, attendees will receive a model release allowing them to use the images for their portfolio, website, and marketing materials. Attendees are not required to photograph every model.
Credit
Many sets, styling elements, and creative direction are provided by Skye Edmonds / Work of Heart Photography.
When sharing images on social media or blogs, attendees agree to provide appropriate credit for styling and production. Credit is not required on business websites or marketing materials.
Retreat Conduct
To create the best experience for everyone, attendees agree to follow the event structure and guidelines provided by the Retreat host.
This includes:
• Shooting within assigned groups
• Respecting shoot rotations and time limits
• Not moving models outside of assigned sets
• Respecting staff instructions
Photography sessions may feel fast-paced and energetic. Our team works carefully to ensure everyone receives time to shoot and collaborate.
Attendees must be respectful of fellow photographers and take turns when working with models. If another photographer is connecting with a model for a shot, please allow them the space to do so.
Attendee understands Skye Hardwick Edmonds and Workshop Assistants will be shooting along with attendees during the various shoots.
Social Media & Behind-the-Scenes Content
Work of Heart Photography may capture behind-the-scenes photos or video for marketing purposes. Attendees are asked not to photograph or record during teaching or instructional moments and to respect the privacy of other attendees. Photos or videos of minor models should not be posted on social media without permission.
Wardrobe, Sets, and Props
Attendees agree to handle all wardrobe, sets, and props with care.
If damage occurs due to negligence or disregard for instructions, the responsible attendee agrees to reimburse Work of Heart Photography for the replacement cost.
Models may not be directed to sit or lie on the ground or participate in rough physical activities without explicit permission from Skye Edmonds.
Image Usage Restrictions
Images captured during the Retreat may not be submitted to magazines, contests, blogs, or commercial publications without written permission from Work of Heart Photography. These sets and creative concepts are proprietary to the Retreat experience.
Retreat Culture
Attendees are expected to participate with professionalism, kindness, and a collaborative spirit. The goal of the Retreat is to create an inspiring and supportive environment for creativity and connection.
Assumption of Risk & Medical Responsibility
Participation in the Retreat includes activities such as travel, walking to and from shooting locations, and working in various environments.
By attending the Retreat, you acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks and you voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur.
You confirm that you are physically able to participate in the Retreat and that you will take responsibility for your own health, safety, and personal belongings. Work of Heart Photography is not responsible for medical expenses, accidents, injuries, or illness that may occur during or in connection with the Retreat.

You further agree not to initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal with your credit card company, bank, or payment provider.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated after purchasing the Retreat, you agree that this constitutes a breach of this agreement.
In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, Work of Heart Photography reserves the right to provide these Terms of Use, proof of purchase, and evidence of participation to the payment processor or financial institution as evidence that the charge is valid and authorized.
You also agree to reimburse Work of Heart Photography for any fees, costs, or expenses incurred as a result of the chargeback or dispute, including administrative fees, collection costs, and legal expenses if applicable.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement represents the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior communications or representations, whether written or verbal.
